Q) How do I send my film to you?
Q) How long does it take for you to put my film on video?
A) Approximately 10 to 15 working days. It may take up to 30 days during peak periods. Your film will be repaired and cleaned, then edited to 400 ft. reels if necessary. It is then allowd to relax before it is transferred.
Q) Will I get my film back?
A) Yes, the film will be shipped with the viewing copies. We keep copies of your master on file as safety precaution. If you decide to get copies at a later date the price is still $2.99.
Q) Is there more than one type of film transfer?
A) Yes, we have two types: Basic silent film transfer to DVD and standard film transfer to DVD which includes easy listening music.
Q) Can I have several types of film?
A) Yes, we can mix 8mm, Super-8 and 16mm all on one DVD.
Q) How much film can I get on a one hour master?
A) A 1 hour DVD will hold 750 feet of regular 8mm film, 800 feet of Super 8mm film and 2000 feet of 16mm film.
Q) Do you offer dvd transfer?
A) Yes you can get a DVD master for each hour of film transfer (full quality). Extra DVD copies may be ordered for $2.99 each
Q) Why do you use a 1 hour master and not a 2 hour master?
A) A disc holds the same amount of video. When you add more you lose half your quality.
